   All about me
Hi my name is Ella and next year i want my teacher to know my name and my favorite color i also want to know them better to.

School highlight 2019

  1. School camp
  2. Swimming
  3. School fun trip
  4. Moving class rooms

My favorite to do in class is to do art with my classmates, and free time, and to talk to my teacher.

And my least thing that i don’t like doing is

Writing, math, and reading but I have to do it for my teacher.

analysis of a scientific lab report

Analysis of a Scientific Lab Report

I am all out of order. Put me where I should be..

The hard shell of the M&Ms is made with water soluble colors. When the water touches the M&Ms, the colors begin to dissolve off of the M&Ms and run into the water. Because of the shape of the plate and the positioning of the M&Ms, the colors have nowhere to go except into the middle of the plate, forming a beautiful rainbow as they do.
Some groups bumped their plates which made theirs look all murky and dirty. My group was careful and ours was separated so we could see all the colors.
They also did use heaps of M and M’s so it didn’t look as cool.

Our one:   Another Group:

What will happen when we add water to a plate full of M and M’s?
  • Plastic plate
  • M and M’s
  • Water
I know that when i eat them my saliva makes the chocolate melt in my mouth. Maybe they will melt in the water?

The materials used to color the m&m aren’t afraid of water, so they dissolve quickly and make rainbow colored water! The chocolate on the other hand did not dissolve quickly

First we place M and M’s randomly around the plastic plate.
Second we add water.
Then we wait and see what happens when the water touches the M and M’s. We had to gently add enough water to the middle of the plate until the water is touching all of the M&Ms. Be careful not to add the water too roughly or it will cause some of the M&Ms to move out of the circle.

Have you ever tried to make the M of an M&M candy float? We did! The floating M candy science experiment is easy, quick, and pretty cool!

e observed that the chocolate did melt. And the colors from all the M and M’s ran out of them. The colors didn't want to touch each other.

I have predicted that the water will melt the chocolate and make the water go all chocolaty

The Water Cycle - Scientific Report
this week we made a water cycle experiment.

Hypothesis:
What do you think is going to happen throughout this experiment?we think that the water will go steamy and have lots of air in the bag and also I think it will smell like plastic and make it go all moist

Vocab that supports your report:

Add definitions of the following words to support your learning

Evaporation:the process of turning from liquid into vapor
Condensation:water which collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contract with it.
Precipitation: the action or process of precipitation a substance from a solution

Materials/equipment used:
What will you need to undertake this experiment?
-Water Plastic bag
-Blue Food coloring ruler
-Vivid+maker tape

Zip the bag up and put the bag

Procedure:

Tip: Pretend you are giving instructions to someone who has never completed this experiment before. Be specific.

  1. We got a plastic bag from the teacher
  2. we drew what we needed to draw on the bag with a permanent maker
  3. We put 1 centimeter in the bag
  4. We put 2 drops of food coloring in the water
  5. We measured the bag to see if it was the right amount or it won’t work

Observations:
What changes have you noticed at different times of the day with your water cycle? What do how you think has influenced these changes? How were conditions different on different days? The change i saw that it got foggier and foggier and some were even foggier than the others

  • Day one observations:it wasn't really forming at first but I couldn't see it coming

  • Day two observations: it was finally working at one stage it looked so cool to see them all work some didn’t really work but it was still so cool.
  • Day three observations: it will still the same on day three nothing change but a little bit change and a little bit didn’t they were all trying to work
  • Day four observations:they all puffed out with air and trying to get themselves to work

Data and analysis:
Did everyone's experiment work? Were all the results the same? They were all the same and like I said they all tried to work but sadly they didn’t work but that is okay

Conclusion
What are your finale thoughts
They all don’t look so bad. They look so awesome and they try make them to work so at least they tried

this what we have been learning
that right water cycling

scientific lab report

Last week we were experimented and here is our  experiment.

Experiment Question: What will happen when we mix water and oil and a alka seltzer
tablet.

Background Knowledge: We new that if you mix water oil and food coloring. That the food coloring was going to make air bubbles.

Materials:

  • Paper towel
  • Plastic cup Vegetable oil
  • Paper towel
  • Food coloring
  • Water
  • Alka seltzer tablet

Hypothesis: I thought that when we mix water oil and Alka seltzer tablet in together that it will evolve.

Procedure

  1. First we came into room 10. And sat in a big circle with room 11. And then watch a video.
  2. And then the teachers put paper towels on the mat.
  3. Next one of the other teacher poured water into a cup. and and some vegetable oil too.
  4. And then finally we put the food coloring in to the water. And oil and it evolved

Observations:

We saw that if you add water oil and alka seltzer tablet together that it will evolve.

Data/analysis: we all had the same experiment as all the other and all of them where the same

Results/Conclusion: in room 10 miss gloag Mr morell and shae all made a experiment it was so beautiful they put...water vegetable oil food coloring least but not last alka seltzer tablet

What I learned:

I learned that if you add water oil and alka seltzer tablet that it will evolve

line of symmetry 13.5.19

In room 10 and 11 we learned about lines of symmetry.
We went on google drawing, into shapes and then we went into lines and created the lines of symmetry.

About me 29.4.19 2019
